The music has not changed but the laws have. The feel of the new Bacardi Music CD ads is the same as they used to be for the Bacardi Rum commercials. Hot women, hot men dancing to the tune of Bacardi and enjoying the summer sun, they moved from a yacht to the beach and now they are sipping to some Bacardi on a terrace converted into a beach. Now isn’t that life?
In keeping with the spirit of Bacardi this ad too does not fail to entertain. It reminds us that Bacardi is the preferred choice when it comes to Rum among a young audience that likes to party. They may not be able to say it up front but everyone knows what Bacardi stands for, they may disguise their offering with music CDs but we know what’s subliminally being marketed.
The idea of the ad is simple, it wants to say that Bacardi is meant for people who love living life to the fullest, they like doing thing differently and they are young and confident and beautiful in every which way. This particular ad has some shock value as only towards the end do you realise that the party is actually happening atop a skyscraper.
Welcome to the new age, that’s what Bacardi has to say. The young audience of today loves to work hard and party harder, so why not make every party special with Bacardi. The Bacardi tune has not changed in years, however has mellowed down a little bit this time around.
A great ad, good looking people and it says all along what it needs to that life is short so have a ball and enjoy every minute of it. Live life differently and keep partying like there is no tomorrow of course do not forget to drown yourself in Bacardi first.

One of the pioneers in giving quality, product relevant advertisements Bacardi ads have a class and quality of their own.
The ad not only promotes the product/ brand but at the same time catches the eye of people who do not booze.Great ad great effort team Bacardi.Cheers!
