Tata Sky-Isko Laga Dala Toh Life Jhingalala

There probably isn’t a single remaining section in the Indian market which Tata hasn’t taken over. Let it be Tata Airlines which later became Air India, the software market, Information Technology, telecom industry, engineering products and services, steel, chemicals, consumer products, hotels, health and hygiene, automobile, electronics, retail marketing, consultancy services, watches, electronics, television and entertainment and what not. Tata has been a revolutionary group with the main motive to push India forward and make it into a developed nation from a developing nation. JRD Tata, the founder of the Tata Industries stated “I do not want India to be an economic superpower. I want India to be a happy country”.
Tata has established yet another benchmark in the Indian consumer section with the launch of the Tata Sky Active Education services. Now a Tata Sky customer , along with watching the clearest video with crystal clear sound quality can also study just by sitting at home. Tata has developed proper education modules for children of all ages which included daily updation of various programs such as English learning program, general knowledge, maths etc. This gives multimedia access to every individual to learn a lot more than what they come across in books as it is highly resourceful and entertaining at the same time.
Aamir Khan, the face of Tata Sky launched the Tata Sky Education on the advertising front with an extremely simple and direct ad. He start with a very casual approach to how new class rooms are coming up in India where the whole scenario of education seems to changing. He talks about how all the formal elements of a class room such as desks, benches, people shouting for pin-drop silence is disappearing and very gradually relates the class room to a regular household. He stresses on how every individual can now receive education may it be a 1 year old child or an 80 year old. It is beautiful how he talks about the everyday household and how every individual can study while keeping the system of the house intact giving it a slight humorous touch to it all. Suddenly his tone changes into one of a disappointed adult where he regrets not having such assets when he was young. The simplicity of this ad is what catches most of the viewers attention and as claimed by the Tata Sky, that there are more than 10 lakh people who have already benefited from this service. Just the fact that a television can now be used more than an idiot box seems to be a relief for a lot of tv lovers, and with Tata giving such amazing services to their customers are bound to not just increase their visibility but also take a step towards localizing education and learning.
The ad ends on a very happy note with Aamir Khan along with a few other kids shout out the Tata Sky slogan, “Islo laga dala, toh life Jhingala”.
