The new TATA Safari advertisement is simple yet effective that lasts for 40 seconds yet manages to withhold interest and is sure to have top of the mind recall value. Nevertheless it is probably the best and the smartest automobile ads I have come across in a long time. The ad has managed to create a stir in the automobile market and is rather apt in communicating the message across to the audience: Its one of the leading SUVs in the market that has been around for a very long time and evolved with the market standards.
TATA industries, which is one of the biggest companies in India has been delivering some of the strongest automobiles suited for the Indian roads for a few decades new. Tata Safari, is their car that has been around for more than a decade and still hasn’t lost its steam. It is one of their most successful cars ever produced that catches the essence of both a family car as well as a multi utility sports car. TATA has been promoting the brand very strongly hinting at the strength and durability with which it has been designed.
Their latest ad shows slashed rates of their car and manages to convince the audience of its suave style. For those who haven’t come across the advertisement yet, it shows two young guys stuck in the middle of the ocean on nothing but a float. This leads us to their conversation where one of them is telling the other about the new rates of TATA Safari Dicor. The essence of this advertisement is to show how at even a do-or-die situation, all they can think is the slashed rates! So much for an exaggeration!
Just after this short intro the ad shows a Safari Dicor driving through a wet meadow. The entry of the elegant Safari is breathtaking is shown candidly. The location is uncommon but like all other SUV ads it focuses on the wild rather than on highway roads. The advertisement lives upto its tag line ‘reclaim your life’ by going ahead and revamping the image of its new Safari at more affordable rates and a more stylish, suave and chic look.
